It Depends our monthly Residential Real Estate Market Update. This month is a quick overview of how the Calgary's Market and neighbouring cities and towns are performing. Shortage of inventory is putting pressure on buyers to be proactive and bear the elements to find their next home. In 16 years this is the busiest December on record for our team. We anticipate this pace to carry strong into the new year.

We dive into how different styles of homes: Single Family, Semi-Attached, Row and Apartment, are doing year over year and look at what districts are performing and which are not. We also talk about economic variables that may help or hinder the recovery in Calgary and Alberta's economy. (Oil cresting over $60/barrel, interest rates under 1.4%, drop in inventory levels, potential job losses with increased M&A, first time buyers, long term change of working from home, and government support.)
